Complete diesel engine rebuilds and overhauls performed by certified master technicians. We fix it right the first time — every time.
Overview
A diesel engine overhaul is one of the most demanding repairs in the industry — and one of the most important to get right. At H&H Diesel Services, our technicians have rebuilt hundreds of engines across every major heavy-duty platform, including Cummins ISX/X15, CAT C13/C15/C18, Detroit DD13/DD15/Series 60, and PACCAR MX-13. We perform complete teardowns, precision measurements, and use OEM-spec components to bring your engine back to factory performance or better. Whether you need an in-frame overhaul to minimize downtime or a full out-of-frame rebuild after major damage, we diagnose the root cause, fix it right the first time, and back our work with a warranty on parts and labor.
An engine that isn't running at full capacity costs you more than just repair bills — it costs you fuel efficiency, payload capacity, and reliability on every run. Deferred engine work compounds quickly: worn rings lead to oil consumption, low compression leads to hard starts and power loss, and ignored coolant leaks can turn a manageable repair into a catastrophic failure. Investing in a proper overhaul at the right time extends engine life by hundreds of thousands of miles, reduces ongoing maintenance costs, and keeps your truck earning instead of sitting. At H&H, we give you an honest assessment of what your engine actually needs — no upselling, no guesswork.
When the block is sound but internal components are worn, an in-frame overhaul replaces pistons, rings, liners, bearings, and seals without removing the engine from the chassis — saving time and cost.
For engines with major damage or high hours, a full out-of-frame rebuild gives us complete access to every component. We inspect, measure, and replace everything that doesn't meet spec.
Cracked heads, worn valve seats, and failed head gaskets are diagnosed and repaired. We send heads to a qualified machine shop for resurfacing and pressure testing before reinstallation.
Injectors, high-pressure fuel pumps, and fuel lines are inspected and serviced as part of a complete overhaul. Worn injectors rob power and fuel economy.
Turbos are inspected for shaft play, seal leaks, and compressor wheel damage. We replace or rebuild turbos as needed and verify boost levels after the engine is back together.
Every rebuilt engine goes through a structured break-in and load test before the truck leaves our shop. We verify oil pressure, coolant temps, boost, and fuel trims are all within spec.
